AutoLog® AL-14LP PLC.

Low-Power AutoLog® OEM PLC designed for off-grid installations. Operates from a 12 / 24 VDC accumulator rechargeable by solar panel or exchanged in the field. Four configurable power-save modes — Run (5.6 – 20 mA), Idle (2.2 mA, clock + DI + serial wake), Stop (1.2 mA, clock + DI wake) and Clock-interruption (140 µA) — let the application program the controller's standby behaviour at remote sites. Eight digital inputs, eight digital outputs plus one PNP output for external sensor powering, zero-to-four analog inputs and two serial ports. Each interface (AI, I²C, serial) can be individually power-gated. Made in Finland, verified operating range −30 to +70 °C.

Designed for remote, off-grid sites: pumping stations beyond the mains, environmental monitoring buoys, solar-powered telemetry on pipelines. Eight digital inputs, eight digital outputs (NPN) plus one PNP output dedicated to powering external sensors only when the program needs them, zero-to-four 12-bit analog inputs with the standard AutoLog plug-in module catalogue, two serial ports. Same 512 kB FLASH / 8 000-line / 32-PID program capacity as the rest of the family. The standout feature is the four-mode power state machine — at 140 µA clock-interruption draw, a single 12 V accumulator can run the AL-14LP for years between charges.
